Dear Pastor,
I’m writing to inform you of an unprecedented opportunity for the church. Samaritan's Purse has been asked to find sponsors for Afghan families who have been evacuated to holding camps here in the United States. Officials would like to move them out of these holding camps as quickly as possible and on to more permanent residences. Would your church consider sponsoring one or more families and helping them begin a new life in your community?
This would include helping them get established in a totally new environment—things like providing a place to live for three months to a year, providing transportation and other necessities, helping with work permits and finding employment, getting children enrolled in school, and more.
We know that this is a significant commitment, but we also believe it is an incredible moment for the church to demonstrate Christ’s love and compassion. We would like to know if your church is interested in this unique ministry opportunity.
If you are interested and will pray about this with your church, click here to find out more and add your contact information to our Afghan Resettlement Program page. One of our team will then be back in touch with you promptly. By providing this information, you are not formally committing to anything—you are simply expressing interest. We are praying with you. May God bless you.

Sincerely,
Franklin Graham
President, Samaritan's Purse
